yea yea yea Jaden, all that sounds cool, but what even IS alchemy?
Good question young padawan.
In the fields of esoteric or occult wisdom, the founding of alchemy along with MANY other disciplines such as mathematics, medicine, law, astrology, chemistry, geography and MORE, are attributed to 1 man.
Hermes Trismegistus.
Yes, like the Greek God Hermes.
Many believe, myself included, that Hermes had many incarnations that he was able to impact humanity with.
A few of those being:
Enoch; a less known but extremely wise and Godly biblical figure
Metatron; An angelic form of Enoch after his spiritual ascension
Thoth; The final king of Atlantis that led his people to Egypt when Atlantis fell. Also known as an Egyptian God.
And of course, the Greek God Hermes.
soooo…maybe “1 man” wasn’t accurate. Let’s say 1 soul :)
Hermes was known as Hermes Trismegistus or Hermes Thrice-Greatest because he was…
The Greatest of All Philosophers.
The Greatest of All Priests.
The Greatest of All Kings.
BIG hype, am I right?
But trust me, he definitely deserved it. But you didn’t come here to learn about Hermes. You came here to learn about one of his disciplines.
Alchemy is a process of transmutation.
Of turning one substance to another. Of turning nothing, into something.
The ancient alchemists would turn lead into gold.
But alchemy is about much more than manipulating matter, it’s also about manipulating MIND.
One of Hermes’ greatest teachings, at least in my opinion, is that of the first law of Hermeticism. Hermeticism is Hermetic philosophy. And Hermes has 7 UNIVERSAL laws of Hermeticism.
The first of those being…
The Law of Mentalism: THE ALL is Mind. The Universe is Mental.
In the most prominent book on Hermeticism of the modern era, The Kybalion, it states that our entire universe is mental.
A mental universe, not created of physical matter, but created of mental ideas in the mind of “THE ALL”.
THE ALL, also known as God, source, the creator, or whatever you’d like to call it… Holds the universe in it’s mind.
Spirit is the foundation of the universe. And according to The Kybalion, spirit is INFINITE living mind.
Spirit is consciousness. Spirit is awareness. Spirit is existence itself.
The universe is spirit. And this spirit projects mental, and then material manifestations of spirit/mind.
The mental universe is the foundation of reality. Just as we can create mental images in our mind, God does the same.
And so if our infinite universe is mental, that must mean that the only limitations in our universe are mental.
This is the foundation of my “No Limit Mindset”.
“Your ONLY limitations are the ones you put on yourself”
**or at least the ones that you ALLOW others to put upon you.
That’s not included in the quote cause it’s a bit wordy, but it’s an important caveat.
99% of people are slaves.
Slaves to their mind. Slaves to their 9-5. Slaves to the education system. Slaves to their phone. Slaves to the people they put onto pedestals.
SLAVES TO THEIR PROGRAMMING.
Most people are too busy being comfortable that they never realize that they’re not even living their life.
But you don’t have to be a slave. And if you’re reading this, you most likely aren’t.
We can all be the creators of our reality.
We can all turn lead into gold.
We can all turn struggles into service.
We can all turn pain into purpose and profit.
We can all be Digital Alchemists.
But only if we escape victim consciousness and take ownership over our reality.
Once we embrace creator consciousness, the magic of alchemy is available to us.
You are the creator of your reality.
So start thinking and acting like it.
Do it today. Be better for it tomorrow.
